A Marine Coordination Centre (MCC) is a central point for managing marine and offshore operations such as:

- Ensuring the location and safety of operatives
Location
Cornwall’s location in the Celtic Sea make it an ideal location for an MCC. Celtic Sea Power and Treveth Holdings LLP propose a new £9m MCC at Cornwall Airport Newquay.

Funding
Celtic Sea Power and Treveth LLP have successfully won funding from both The Crown Estate and the European Growth Zone Fund.
Developing the Celtic Sea
- The Crown Estate (TCE) is responsible for the leasing of the seabed in the Celtic Sea Region for Offshore Wind Development.
- To aid the development of the Region TCE established a £50m Supply Chain Accelerator fund.
- The aim of the fund aim is to catalyse the capacity and capability of the UK supply chain to support a thriving offshore wind industry.
- The development of the Celtic Sea is predicted to create 5300 jobs and a £1.4bn economic boost for the UK.
