Chapter 1: CELTIC SEA POWER AND OUR APPROACH TO REGIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL CHARACTERISATION

Celtic Sea Power is a strategic enabling organisation helping to support the successful emergence of a new sustainable Floating Offshore Wind (FLOW) sector in the Celtic Sea.

CSP is an autonomous subsidiary of Cornwall Council, member of the Celtic Sea Alliance and Celtic Sea Cluster and is working to accelerate successful and sustainable long-term FLOW development in the UK Celtic Sea region.

Chapter 2

SUPPORTING  DELIVERY OF A STRATEGIC APPROACH TO SUSTAINABLE FLOW DEVELOPMENT IN THE UK CELTIC SEA

The main purpose of this document and related engagement activities is to support one of Celtic Sea Power’s key strategic objectives in helping to streamline the licensing and consenting process  for FLOW. Targeting this objective and providing a long-term holistic view of the existing and evolving regional environmental baseline can help ensure the full potential benefits of FLOW in the Celtic Sea can be realised, thereby enabling a long-term sustainable FLOW development pipeline within the region.
