Description
Chapter 6: PHYSICAL PROCESSES AND SEDIMENT DYNAMICS
This chapter outlines the principal physical processes relevant to FLOW development in the Celtic Sea, including tidal currents, wave regimes, sediment transport, and coastal processes.
It describes the baseline datasets and available guidance informing the understanding of these parameters. Interactions between hydrodynamic and sedimentary processes are considered with respect to seabed morphology and nearshore dynamics. This baseline supports subsequent assessment of physical environment considerations within the study area.
